Personal data

The site offers several forms: contact, discovery flight request, club pre-registration and renewal forms, and the BIA workshop for partner schools. The data entered is used solely to handle the request concerned and to manage your relationship with the club. It is neither shared nor sold to third parties. The site processes it on the servers of its host, Vercel, when it is sent and viewed, without storing it there; it is stored in France, with OVHcloud.

Contact form: the information sent (surname, first name, email address, phone number, message) is delivered to the contact@byac.org mailbox by the sending provider Resend, whose servers are located in Ireland, and is not stored by the site itself.

Discovery flight requests: the information sent (surname, first name, date of birth, postal address, email address, phone number, emergency contact, preferred date, message, and the passengers' names, ages and weights, needed to prepare the flight) is delivered the same way to the club office and kept in a private storage area with OVHcloud, in France, under a reference (for example SEP-1601), while the flight is scheduled and then flown. Only the club office can view it, behind a password; the record is deleted once the flight has taken place.

Pre-registration and renewal forms: the answers are emailed to the club office and kept in a private storage area with OVHcloud, in France, while the file is processed and then for the duration of membership. BIA workshop: partner schools enter, for each student taking part in the flights, their surname, first name, class, age, weight and phone number, the payment method, and the contact details of their legal guardians (surname, first name, address, phone number, email). Some of this data concerns minors; it is entered by the school, under its responsibility and with the guardians' consent. It is used only to organise the flights (forming crews, aircraft weight and balance, contact if needed) and to track payments. It is kept in the same private area, in France, accessible to the club office only, and deleted at the end of the flying season.

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the right to access, correct, erase and object to the processing of your data, or that of a child for whom you are the legal guardian, by writing to contact@byac.org. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr).
