The flying club in a few words

Since 1937, the BYAC has kept light aviation alive at Yvrac, ten minutes from Bordeaux. A members' club run by enthusiasts, open to anyone who wants to learn to fly.

Yvrac airfield, a rare place to learn to fly

A non-profit association, the BYAC runs Yvrac airfield for its members and for anyone curious about flying — welcoming in spirit, rigorous in the air.

A 686 m grass runway

Orientation 11/29, in unspoilt countryside ten minutes from Bordeaux.

Club life

A team at the members' side

The office welcomes members and visitors Monday to Friday, 9am to noon and 2pm to 6pm. A team of instructors runs the training. An approved maintenance workshop looks after the whole fleet.
